He saw the grief that was in me
He saw the tears roll down my eyes
This stood for my worst fears
Then He tretched a hand and gave a touch
This gave my life a new turn.
He stood first as a friend
To conquer my worst fears
Then He came and stood my me
And put an end to my grief
He gave a hand and cleaned my eyes pure
In Him I found a cure.
I have never seen a friend as this
Who’s been there by me for real
To fight the wicked hands
That cheats the land.
And then He came as a brother
With Him there was nothing for which to bother
Then as a father
He came and led me further
Into the perfect land under His hand
A new family I now have.
Then He stood, took a look at me
And with a smile He said to me
“Lo, I’m with you always”
But I asked Him “What does that mean, Lord?”
Again, He looked at me
And with a smile He said
“It means I dwell in you You are my workmanship”. (Eph. 2:10)
