How have you been all this while?
Got a lot on the shelves for us though.
What has been your drive lately? To have your name chronicled in the sands of time, I guess? Therefore, you have put your back into that endeavour, ya?
Great aspirations, I must commend. When there is no vision, the Bible says, the people perish. I am glad you a’int among those perishing.
Yet…
Hear this.
The problem with believers is that, we want to have the chronicles so we throw away the light. But what benefit is the chronicle without the light. We forget that, in a world covered with darkness like ours, YOU CAN READ NO CHRONICLES WITHOUT THE LIGHT, AND YOU CAN WRITE NO CHRONICLES STILL WITHOUT THE LIGHT.
Chronicles are records of past events or achievements of people and what concerns them. The truth is, it’s what makes life special and something to be proud of. But, what really makes life worth living for and given is this: I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT AND I HAVE GOT THE LIGHT.
Who is this Light? Jesus is the Light. He says, “I am the Light of the world…”
Without Him, we would stumble in darkness. I don‘t know where you are in life, or the kind of chronicle you want written about you, but here is what I want you to know: Getting and hold on to Jesus. He is the Light and all you need. When you have Him, you have everything.
Do you have Jesus? Are you holding on to Him or to your ambitions, goals and dreams?
