There Is Therefore Now No Condemnation

Oh, no wonder the scriptures say COME BOLDLY. Just come.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Romans 8:1

“NEITHER DO I CONDEMN YOU. GO…” – JESUS
I remember that story of the woman caught in the act of adultery and brought before Jesus. This was a messed up situation.

Jesus was regarded as perfect by all, and here she was, bared before Him. All her weaknesses, her errors, shame and all seemed to have caught up with her.

The Pharisees, that perfectionist bunch of hypocrites, had taken this opportunity to once more exert their influence and feed their ego as regards establishing the law before all the people.

But they were shocked when Jesus chose to judge their consciences than their claims. At that instant, the accused declares His Lordship and right there, Jesus sides with her, “I do not also condemn you… Go, and sin no more.”

IT IS CHRIST THAT JUSTIFIES
Satan has so conditioned the local believer by a system of perfection that doesn’t match God’s statistics one bit. Thus, we have now been enslaved all over again by a life of guilt and constant fear of failure. I keep falling and failing. I keep disappointing everyone. I love the Lord, and all that is good, but I just keep having an up-and-down Christian life. I hate myself. I hate my life. It’s impossible to live this life. I can’t do it.

You see that last word? That’s satan’s goal. To bring you to a place of desperation and frustrate you out of your place in God.

WHOM HE JUSTIFIED, HE GLORIFIED
But, in Jesus, there is no condemnation of you. Yes, there is conviction and condemnation of sin. But not of you. You see when you have become born again, you cross that line of condemnation. When God looks at you, He sees His right standing (righteousness) in you because of what Jesus did. When you fall short and turn to Him again, He receives you and dusts you up. Yes, you read that right!

Who will condemn you when the Judge Himself justifies you?
The burden of fear or guilt that continues to keep you back from pursuing God’s face is a clear sign that you have become a captive again. The guilt you don’t shake off is the sin you’ll stay tied to. Move out.

THE SPIRIT BEARS WITNESS
But you are not a captive. You have been set free. You have been delivered. Jesus is not condemning you. Rather, He is calling you. If you listen deep down in your spirit, you’ll hear that Witness again. You’re a child of God. That struggle within you is a testament to that. You’re not lost yet. Not while your life is still before you.

Come boldly, pray and, fellowship.
Oh, no wonder the scriptures say COME BOLDLY. Just come. With my sin and setbacks? Come. With my failures and defeat? Come. I feel drained and depressed. He says Come. I am damaged product.
He says Come. I am weary and struggle in faith, prayer and the Word. He says Come.

Before this Throne of mercy, there is grace that will change the worst into the best. Before this Throne, there is mercy and hope for the worthless.

Today, say this, SATAN, I CHANGE MY MIND. I REFUSE TO BE YOUR SLAVE. I AM IN CHRIST. THEREFORE, I AM A PARTAKER OF HIS HONOR AND NOT CONDEMNATION. I HATE MY ERRORS, AND I WON’T LIVE IN THE GUILT OF THEM. WHEN I FALL, I TURN AGAIN TO MY LORD. HE WILL FORGIVE ME AND CLEANSE ME FROM THE UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. HE LOVES ME AND WON’T LET ME GO. I EMBRACE THIS LOVE, AND I WILL WALK IN IT. I AM FREE IN CHRIST, AND I AM NOT CONDEMNED. JESUS IS MY LORD. I AM JUSTIFIED, LOVED, RIGHTEOUS. NOT BECAUSE I EARNED IT, BUT BECAUSE JESUS GAVE ME. I AM FREE TO LIVE, TO LOVE AND TO RISE. IN THE NAME OF JESUS. AMEN. GLORY!
