He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty
Psalms 91:1
God, our Father, in His beauty, love, knowledge and perfection through Christ has brought us to come be a part of His family, His prized possession. This salvation and its privileges gives us right to access the Kingdom inheritance of the Father. You see, now you and I are in Him and what He has have become ours by inheritance through Jesus Christ. When we spend time knowing these benefits, we can realize that depression, frustration and sadness can’t be accommodated in us, instead we are full of joy always.
But one of the greatest blessings we have in Christ Jesus is access to God’s presence. Although this looks simple, it is something that if many of us are sincere about, we struggle with. I pray today you’ll realize that you have been given access and you can learn how to push yourself into this great blessing of God’s presence.
God’s presence (I mean His active presence where you can sense Him, hear, see and be touched by Him) is more than a cooperate gathering like our local church/assembly. It is the very manifestation of God revealed to us personally, this may be in a cooperate setting or a private encounter. This is a very special experience and it always has effect. It can happen anytime but not anyhow. This special manifestation of God to His children is something God wants us to seek. It is something He wants us to become inclined to.
Moses called it “the Secret place”, as stated in our opening text. You see, God wants to have this special place in our lives. Yes He has given us access, yet, He wants us to chase after Him with all our being. When there is a pursuit of God, we will do all we can to stay close to Him. We will spend time in prayers, studying, living right and just yearning for Him. And the more we seek Him, we will be drawn into that special spiritual position that will enable us meet with God. It is called a spiritual posture. This posture allows us create a meeting point between God and us. Here, great encounters are experienced, stories are changed, strength to keep going is restored, chains broken, fellowship established, grace released and brokenness achieved amongst other things
But, hunger for God is what drives us there. If you’re not hungry for Him, you won’t pursue after Him. And consistently seeking after the Lord will bring you to this special uniquely designed posture which, whenever you take it, brings the manifestation of God to you.
With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness
Isaiah 26:9
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near
Isaiah 55:6
Beloved, you’ve been given access through Jesus Christ to the God of all gods. It is time you rise up to take your place in His presence. You can start seeking the Lord for a deeper, more revealed manifestation of His presence to you. Organize yourself to take that spiritual posture that will make the Father show Himself to you in a more unique way.
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him
