Title: PURPOSE (2)
And God… said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over… every living thing…
Gen. 1:28
It is the joy of every parent to see their children flourishing, experiencing growth, favor, miracles and fruitfulness. And even much more so with God, when He created man (male and female), without any formal introduction, He commanded, “Be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue and dominate it“.
Can I help you to see that the race to accomplishing God’s intention for your existence is a winning one? A winning race in the sense that, all the power to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue and dominate is right there on the inside of you waiting to activate with full force once you begin to engage them in the purpose track set for you. No man who refuses to engage in the track towards the fulfilment of God’s intention/purpose can produce result fit to meet God’s pleasing standard, only the purpose-driven man can do this.
God created you and I to display His power, His praises, His glory, His kindness and His mercy. God made humanity for testimony- To both radiate His glory and spread it for Him all over the world. Any other reason for existence that does not satisfy these does not and will not bring glory or pleasure to God.
God is a God of splendor, beauty, power and majesty. God is not afraid of the end because He has no end. Time is His creation, so it doesn’t have power over Him. The attributes of God can never be totally outlined. In all things, places, always, God is Almighty.
Then, this Almighty God decides to make something which displays His being, reflects His personality and with whom He could fellowship. The created animals didn’t fit in, the angels didn’t either. I don’t totally understand either, with all their glory and all? God was not satisfied. This All-intelligent Creator now comes to the conclusion: “Let Us make man in Our own image and after Our own likeness” possessing the attributes of God- fruitful, multiplying; able to replenish (to refill, to complete, add a fresh quality to) the earth, to subdue and dominate. And then we read, “So God created man…” He did it! – Gen. 1:26-28.
God created you and He did so deliberately. You’re a deliberate creation. Don’t worry about where you are now or how you came into the earth. You’re a deliberate creation. You have a purpose. Don’t give up. You’re too special to be useless.
Celebrate God about yourself tonight. He’s got an intention for you. Ask Him to show you. Doing so will give meaning to your life.
