Furthermore, I have learnt that as a believer, we all (children of God) weren’t saved to be put under again by the devil or by unfavorable circumstances of life

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage

Galatians 5:1

One of the things that keep me going as a believer is the desire to be the person I believe and write about: the ideal Christian.

As a writer and teacher of the word of God, it is easy to get carried away by knowledge and a growing audience with interest in what I write but with no life for them in the words. It is easy to fall for the fine delivery of words without power in them to change the lives of the readers. The true power of our words or declaration, therefore, is from its source. Is it all from the head or a passive heart? Or does it come from a heart that understands by experience, the truth of God intimately and practically?

And so, I keep trying. Each day is a new opportunity for me. I forget achievements and (or) setbacks of yesterday(s) and I set out to be a better version of me, according to the standard of God’s word for me as a Christian. I want to live daily as one prepared for a coming kingdom and a coming King. – Phil. 3:7-14, 1Cor. 8:2

Furthermore, I have learnt that as a believer, we all (children of God) weren’t saved to be put under again by the devil or by unfavorable circumstances of life. Many times, some of us live our lives subject to the elements that the Bible says we’ve been freed from already. Some of our lives look like God is a liar and His word is a hoax.

Don’t get me wrong. Challenges will arise just as they did with our Master, Jesus Christ. But, just like Jesus, we are meant to overcome them each time. That they become a norm, where they lay siege on us, that’s abnormal for the child of God. – 1st John 4:4, 5:4, Col. 1:12-14, Eph. 2:1-6

Jesus’ life is an example of God’s system into which we are born when we become His children. To follow after Jesus means to walk in His steps, His victories not exempted neither His authority as a whole. – 1st Peter 2:21-24, Mark 16:18-19, Luke 10:19

Thank you Lord Jesus. Thank you for dying for me. Your victories are mine. Your life is mine. I am no longer a slave. I am a child of God so I am free. I’m not under. I’m the blessed. God has blessed me. This is my heritage. I rejoice and stand in my place of redemption. I refuse to allow anything to keep me down anymore. I’m elevated with Christ Jesus and I’m above everything that Satan and this world can offer. I am above. I am unstoppable. I am unbeatable. I have surplus and live in miracles everyday because I am the redeemed unto God, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
