Beyond my feelings, beyond my thought,
beyond Satan’s suggestions, I believe God’s word.
I do not live or stand by the things I see, hear or feel
because they are temporary.
I choose rather to look at the things that are not seen
because they are true and are eternal,
powerful and effective in their working.
I, James George, the Just,
live by my faith in what God’s word says.
I belong to God. He holds my hand always.
I have His life and that life is burning in me.
I believe it’s there, feeling or not, it’s there.
His grace is abounding towards me in all sufficiency.
I am having all the grace to live right, perform well and please God
by my faith in His ability to keep me from falling.
I’m standing by my faith in His power that works in me
both to will and do what pleases Him daily.
