Title: AS SURE AS THE DAWN
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater; so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent itIsaiah 55:9-11
God is an amazing and dependable Being. He isn’t anyone that just speaks or throws words or says things in the spur of the moment without meaning anything. When He makes a promise, it’s sure to happen. When He speaks a thing, it MUST be, no matter what happens and no matter how long.
Our father of faith, Abraham, is an evidence that, given time, the Word will come to pass. See God’s promise to them by Himself when He visited them in Genesis 18:9-14,
‘Then they said to him, “Where is Sarah your wife?” So he said, “Here, in the tent. And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.” (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.) Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?” And the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”
But, this didn’t just spring up and happen at once. It took some time. A lot happened. But if Jehovah has said it, forget, it will happen. Isa. 55:10-11 is real.
“And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.”
Has God given you a word and it seems it’s questionable or slow in coming, behold I want you to remember this word today, He will never fail you. No matter how long or how tough it will get, you see that word, hold on to it, surely it will come. God doesn’t joke with His words. It is not a question about whether it will happen but whether you will wait for it.
Your prayer today shouldn’t be for God to bring His word to pass on your life but for you to have the strength/faith to wait for it and to do the needful. If you can wait for it, you can live in it.
Don’t give up on what you’ve heard God speak over your life and situation. Weeping may endure for the night but JOY COMES IN MORNING.
If you’re so sure that the dawn will come no mater how long the night is, then be more sure that the Word of God will be fulfilled as well no matter how long it takes.
Celebrate because it is coming to pass in your life through faith now!
