Title: A GUIDE TO PURPOSE
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations

After using the internet for a while, I discovered the addictive side of it and decided to find out how to make the best use of it further and more personally. I asked the question why? And after sincere cross-examination, realized that it is not as if most people don’t have or know what to do with the internet, no. One big challenge, however, is focus. Many folks go online and the moment they’re holding their devices or surfing the web, they’re distracted by one thing or the other. They soon forget why they went online in the first place and before you know, time, data and some sanity is wasted on nothing. Hence, it can be rightly reinstated again that, even in the internet, when you don’t know what to do before hand, it’s easy to get carried away and forget, be misled and waste time and resources.
But, right now, I seek to show you that, your life can be like that person who so quickly loses sight of why they got their gadget in the first place, why they subscribed to the internet and why they were online. Our lives can become like an aimless traveler and/or a bystander participating in everything and being known for no one thing, when we don’t have the understanding of our life’s purpose: why we are here.
You see, you and I are not accidents just walking Earth’s surface. No, we are not. You’re a DELIBERATE creation. It doesn’t matter how, where or to whom you were born. There is an intention behind your appearance on the Earth’s scene at this time in history. The Person who put you here knows why. You weren’t born here to chase education, money, career, husband/wife, children, jobs, visa or whatever else people chase in life, and then to leave the world one day. No, you’re much more than that. You’re for much more than that.
This, tonight, is a first step to introducing you to your real self. It is a deliberate message you’re receiving to let you know that you have yet to enter into your full life. You’re more than that possession or achievement. All you’ve gotten at this point in time, all your experiences, partnerships, favors you’ve received and all, they have all served to be the tool for the cause you’re to feature in. If not, then they’ve been got for nothing.
You’re important dear believer. The world is blessed to have someone such as yourself in its history at this point in time. Can you say a quick prayer of Thanksgiving and acceptance of your place in this position as God’s instrument in your time. Thank Him for choosing you for His purpose today.
