Title: LET GOD PROVE YOU
Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
II Thessalonians 1:11-12
Doesn’t it feel sometimes like the commands or instructions we get along with the endowments of God upon us are beyond our expectations? There is a way in which the world and the enemy magnifies it before our eyes. They make us feel like it’s overrated, like the price is too high to pay compared to what we have been tasked with.
But, how do you explain the assignment that will take you away from the familiar? Does it always have to change my environment, break my relationships, interrupt my agenda and push me further from all I have ever known?
God’s purposes and instructions are always good. His leadings are never towards regret. However, no matter how good the thing you might have been asked to do, there might just need to be that big step you have to take to reach it. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Jesus, the Apostles, etc. all came to that point where they took that huge step out of their comfort zones, their dreams affected directly or indirectly, their plans interrupted among other things.

But, the good news about God’s order for making you worthy of His calling and proving you is that: God’s burdens are not grievous (Matt. 11:29-30). God’s interruptions always pay off. They distinguish you from everyone else. Hence, it is necessary to learn the order of trusting Him to give you that expected end as it is in His heart. It is left for you to walk with Him according to His integrity through faith.
As we learn to move out in faith and obedience, like Abraham of old, we can be sure to see the All-sufficient God working on our behalf. We will then know that His moving us is His own way of proving our commitment to Him. It is His own way of testing our resolve to go all the way with Him. And when He proves this, He will release the activating ability that will bring all our blessings in spiritual places on board our lives – 1 Peter 5:10-11.
Hallelujah!
