DAY 135 OF 365: WALKING THROUGH THE WORD DEVOTIONAL

God’s sent Word will always have its way. Even in that your circumstance right now, if we can start believing it and allowing it run its course in our lives and circumstances.

Title: FIND GRACE IN GOD’S WORD

God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Numbers 23:19

God has shown us from His Word that He has plans for us for good no matter what we are seeing now (Jeremiah 29:11-12). God has given us sure promises in His Word. He says He will never leave us nor abandon us (Joshua 1:5b, Hebrews 13:5b). He says no matter what we go through, we will never walk alone because He will be with us (Isaiah 43:1-2).

We are a people of God’s love. We love Him and are greatly loved by Him. As a result of this, we can be certain that no matter what we are going through, He is working it out for our good. Yes, no matter how bad it is right now. Be sure that it will end in glory and joy (Rom. 8:28-30).

The scriptures encourage us to turn to the Lord when we don’t know what to do. They encourage us to seek God even when we can’t see Him around us. Through the Word, we will see God in every situation. We will know that no matter what we face, God is on our side. We will realize that behind the dark cloud, there is light warming up to shine forth. It’s important to remember that if God had spoken to you before, then the Word is worth holding on to.

He said a great nation would proceed out of the most unqualified offspring, the second born, Jacob. And even when those who heard it took it lightly, it didn’t stop Him from still working things in the background. The one who wasn’t even there when it was spoken was being driven by the spoken Word. They thought he was a trickster and an improper child, but, it was the Word that was driving him.

God’s sent Word will always have its way. Even in that your circumstance right now, if we can start believing it and allowing it run its course in our lives and circumstances. (Isa. 55:11).

Let us look back to God through His sent Word and hold on to Him through it even when you’re not sure anymore; and be sure to know that it will come to pass for you, in Jesus name, amen.
