Title: 2 STEPS TO YOUR MAKING
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessingGenesis 12:2
It’s the desire of God for you to become that man He wants you to be. The understanding of His own organized steps to becoming who He wants you to be is what puts you in position to become it. So here are the 2 packages that turn men into blessings in God’s hands:
First is the call of God unto salvation or God’s calling men to seek Him. God is calling everyone to Himself. The “Calling” of God is His call to salvation unto which the whole nations of the earth is being called. It is unto all men, as Titus 2:11 clearly puts it. If only everyone knew that the call of God is not to remind them of their sins, or to enslave them, to punish or condemn them for it, they’d stop running after their own ways.
This call can also mean His message to His children to seek His face and His glory in intimate communion with Him – Amos 5:8, Isa. 45:19.
So, which ever category you fall into, if you want to find life, the good life, then make sure you’ve answered this question: have you answered God’s call to salvation (are you born again)? And have you answered His call to seek or pursue after Him?
Now, in our answer to His call, to salvation and (or) to His presence, we will discover our rights and privileges available for us in Jesus Christ who saved us: healing, wealth, grace, power, victory, and all that He’s got to offer in His Kingdom. These are experiences, and are available for our taking once we get saved and (or) become consistent attendants in His presence. They establish us in becoming living, walking testimonies of God’s amazing power on earth, practically. That is, it brings us into partaking experientially of possibilities and more. – Rom. 8:29-31, John 1:12, 1John 5:4
The second is our obedience to God’s charges. To “charge” in this context means to instruct strictly, to guide. It connotes some advice and warning all in one. Instructions are what makes us. It is the stroke that breaks the camel’s back. We may have all the call and be carriers of the blessings; we may be raised up to sit with Him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus; all these will only remain spiritual realities without any physical effect. It is when we “arise” as a result of God’s “charge” which He gives us through His Word and His Spirit that we will become the blessing we have been blessed to be on the earth.
Until we chose to start seeking and obeying God, we can not prove worthy to experience the possibilities in Christ.
But you can make up your mind today to heed God’s call today and start obeying His instructions. In Christ, you have been blessed with the blessings of Abraham (Gal. 3:13-14). And in God’s presence, you are sure to find all the help you need (Ps. 91). As you make God’s presence your abode, you can find direction and help and when you chose to walk in them, you’ll eat the good of the land – Isa. 1:19.
(Thank God that, right now, by the Holy Spirit in every child of God, He now lives in us; so we can now literally live in God’s presence daily). God has laid down His process for making men. Follow it on up. You shall shine!
