Being a child of God has within itself the power to organize our system after the order of God. This is called Eternal life… Read and be blessed.

”For all seek their own, not the things which are of Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 2:21

I try not to be judgmental as I’m also a work in progress myself, but I like to observe people and understand them. I like to hear them speak, watch them act and see them make decisions. Almost every thing that projects from us has a way of defining who we truly are. Some folks lead conflicting lives because their entire being is conflicted. Their words conflict with their actions, their actions conflict with what they intended, and so they are always confused about life and who or what they truly are.

But being a child of God has within itself the power to organize our system after the order of God. This is called Eternal life. It is having the life of God residing in you. Now, that life, when yielded to, has the ability to restructure your entire system. What does it require from you? Submission to it. That’s what is meant when you hear the words, “Give your life to Christ”. Being born again means yielding control of our lives to the Lord to break and remake it for His purpose and original, predestined work.

His purpose, yes, I mean God, our Father, has an intention upon earth everyday. The purpose of His creation in the first place was for His interest. Man didn’t ask to be created. Humanity didn’t ask for a Savior to die for it. Yet, God created man. Yet God sent a Savior to die for humanity. Why, to satisfy His interest. It’s very important that you and I know that our very existence isn’t to enjoy this life and everything in it just like that. It’s not to build or buy houses or lands or cars or things. It’s not to get married and have children and live a simple and quiet life alone. No, very far from that. In the midst of it all, you’re to remember what I tell you right now: YOU EXIST TO FULFILL THE INTEREST OF GOD.

”Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord.”

Jeremiah 9:23-24

To seek the Lord’s interest begins by seeking to know the Lord. To know the Lord is then to know what pleases Him and to bring delight to Him by doing it. For instance, God delights in lovingkindness, judgment and righteousness. And so, seeking His interest means seeking everyday to go out and show lovingkindness with no question of whether it’s merited or not. It is to go out to judge what’s wrong or right and to actively condemn every manifestation of evil. It is to go out and show forth God’s righteousness everywhere I find myself. Let this sink in.

”Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?”

Ezekiel 33:11

I’m trying to show you the interest of God from the scriptures. Let’s look at more:

”For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

1 Timothy 2:3-4

“_But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Matthew 9:13

’For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.”

Hosea 6:6

When our lives, therefore, are driven by anything other than to live in love, righteousness and judgment, or to seek to know the Lord, or to seek to see souls being saved into the Kingdom of God actively, then we aren’t seeking the Lord’s interest but our own. However, it takes true children of the Father to seek His interest.

Everything you and I are scrambling for in this life are but passing shadows. But what He has called us to come pursue in Him has eternal value. They profit both the present and eternity. Let us go on today to ponder upon the things that interest us everyday and check: Where is Jesus in all these? What interest will God and the Kingdom gain from these? Are these more precious to me than the service of my commitment to my Lord? Am I attached to them than I am to the Lord whom I claim they’re for?

”But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

Matthew 6:33

Be blessed as you pnder on these. Let us pray after this manner:

Dear Heavenly and most gracious Father,

Thank you for yout Word to me today and for opening my eyes to a much more better way to live my life which is, seeking to please and satisfy your interest today and always. Father, today, I ask for grace to be committed to do this. Give me deeper understanding of your desire and grant me strength so that I may pursue its satisfaction. This I pray in Jesus name, amen.
