DAY 149 OF 365: WALKING THROUGH THE WORD

No money, no food, no friends, no trouble and no enjoyment can ever measure up to the value of a personal relationship with Jesus!

Title: ON A LOVE ADVENTURE WITH JESUS

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:12-14

O the blessedness of those who walk closely with the Lord! The joy of attachment to the One with whom we have to do. This is far beyond religiosity or its likes. Rather, it is what I like to call a love adventure.

As I walked and chatted with a friend, in a brief moment of silence, my thought flew around this question, “What would my life look like without an intimate relationship with Christ? How would I go without hearing His voice whispered within my spirit?”

I just could not imagine it. In addition, there and then I spoke out, “No money, no food, no friends, no trouble and no enjoyment can ever measure up to the value of a personal relationship with Jesus“! It is worth its time and every price.

A deep relationship with Jesus is like a love adventure. It does not always seem like it makes any sense from the beginning, but for all who dare to explore the unknown in affection for their Lover, they are in for a great ride. God desires men who will go with Him on this adventure!

In this adventure, there will be revelations of His dimensions. Here, there will be transformation of our personalities because of the dimensions we behold. The more we look and interact, the more we are changed. – 2Cor. 3:18

On this adventure, we become His agents representing His life and light to our world. Yes, the world will call us weird. Yes, they will call you weak, foolish, poor, etc. Nevertheless, He will use your weakness, weirdness, foolishness and poverty to prove them wrong. There is absolutely no limit to what God will do on our adventures with Him. Our being with Him and the desire to keep exploring are the only limits. – 1Cor. 1:26-28

Today, He beckons, will you respond. There is no loss with Him. None we have to leave behind compares with our harvest as we pursue after the Saviour and Lover of our souls daily. Today, I invite you on a love adventure that does not destroy people; instead, it makes them better.

I invite you to the sweet fellowship with the Creator Himself, through Jesus Christ. It is a sweet adventure, the pursuit of God.

Take that adventure through the study of His word daily. Take that adventure through heart prayers daily. Take that adventure by learning to obey Him on a regular basis. Take up the adventure of sharing your faith in Jesus with someone, friend or stranger. Each action is a life-changing adventure. Moreover, it is rewarding, so so rewarding.

Hallelujah!
