DAY 154 OF 365: WALKING THROUGH THE WORD

The 27th Psalm captures the concept of confidence in God through faith in His ability to do the impossible and to remain consistent always.. Join me in this short read. Blessings

Title: CONFIDENCE OF FAITH IN GOD

The 27th Psalm is very special to me because it combines an exuberant declaration of faith in God together with a heart that is desirous of God. This is further more captured in a cry out for God’s preservation. It sums up the concept of confidence in God through faith in His ability to do the impossible and to remain consistent always.

Today, let us stand with David the king, and declare our faith in God. As you read, be reminded that God doesn’t fail people who depend on Him. Let it remind you to strengthen your confidence in Him even when
things aren’t visible and your expectations aren’t looking viable.

I’m sharing with you from the NKJV Bible. I encourage you to read this scripture aloud to yourself as if it’s about you and you alone

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.

Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.

One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.

For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”

Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.

When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the Lord will take care of me.

Teach me Your way, O Lord, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.

Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence.

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

Psalms 27:1-14

Let your faith be strengthened and let hope rise. Cast away the worry. He that will come will come. Embrace the comfort of His word and take one more step further. There is reason to hope because it’s not yet over. Put your confidence in God and stand still. He will show up in His might and clear all darkness with His great light.

Hallelujah to the Lord!
Bless Him right now

DAY 152 OF 365: WALKING THROUGH THE WORD

There definitely will come the day when all men will stand to give account to the Maker of us all, the Lord God Himself. You see, just as the Master of those servants returned eventually, a day would come when we all will appear before God’s presence. And that day, He will ask us for what He entrusted to us. He will then reward all according to their works… More on today’s devotional

DAY 149 OF 365: WALKING THROUGH THE WORD

No money, no food, no friends, no trouble and no enjoyment can ever measure up to the value of a personal relationship with Jesus!

Title: ON A LOVE ADVENTURE WITH JESUS

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:12-14

O the blessedness of those who walk closely with the Lord! The joy of attachment to the One with whom we have to do. This is far beyond religiosity or its likes. Rather, it is what I like to call a love adventure.

DAY 148 OF 365: WALKING THROUGH THE WORD

Today is about a man who, by the situation of things, found himself inside the belly of a very big fish. That would seem like drowning, wouldn’t it? Imagine the heat, the gut smell and everything possibly found inside a fish’s belly. It wasn’t funny. It wasn’t fun…

Title: WHEREVER, WHENEVER

Then Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the fish’s belly. And he said: “I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction, And He answered me. “Out of the belly of Sheol I cried, And You heard my voice.”

DAY 145 OF 365: WALKING THROUGH THE WORD

I don’t care what anyone would think of me, whatever it is about me, I am full-time, all-out for Jesus and the expansion of His name upon the earth. I want to live doing this, wear out and die still doing it…

Title: BREAKING THE LIMITS OF YOURSELF

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
