DAY 107 OF 365: WALKING THROUGH THE WORD DEVOTIONAL

This is what God wants you to know today. His first thought is not rejection or judgment. Instead, His first thought is mercy and deliverance.

Title: HAS GOD LEFT YOU? – 1

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you

You can’t afford to have a life of hate upon hate, darkness upon darkness, grudge against grudge, bitterness atop bitterness. You have to choose to be the better party…

Title: HOW DO I FORGIVE?

Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.

Luke 7:47

What if I told you that one of the reasons you struggle in the place of prayers, hearing God, focusing and having answered prayers was your inability to let go of offences done against you?

Title: FORGIVENESS, MUCH

Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven

We serve, sow, invest and it just seems like “…we’ve caught nothing…”. When we look at ourselves or try to match our labour statistics with that of our expectations, it seems like we have nothing to show for it. Do you understand what I’m talking about right now? At such a time, it’s easy to want to stop trying and just throw in the towel, you know, call it quits.

Title: POSITIONED TO CONNECT -2

And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

The extent of what you can see is the boundary of what you’ll receive…

Title: WHAT ARE YOU SEEING?

“Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, ‘Jeremiah, what seest thou?’ And I said, ‘I see a rod of an almond tree.’ Then said the LORD unto me, ‘Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.’ “

Jeremiah 1:11-12

Many years ago, as a young child, I fell very ill. While I took my medications, I just got worse instead of better. The fever just kept increasing and increasing. As I lay on the sick bed, I’d feel very cold and it would feel like I was covered by a thick blanket of darkness. My health continued to wane and the fever began to affect my mind. I began to hallucinate.

The God-craft is the use of God’s technique for influencing positive change in our spheres of influence…

Title: THE GOD-CRAFT

Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 23:24

There is a reason our Heavenly Father is called the Almighty, the Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent God. He fills everything in every direction. He is over everything for us. Glory to God because He is the Almighty and we belong to Him. He has raised us up in Him and now we can walk in this status.

Darkness can mean the unknown… It is the point where you aren’t fully aware of what might or might not be happening around you…

Title: GO BLIND: COURSING THROUGH THE DARKNESS

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1 John 3:2
