You might use honey as a substitute for sugar. You can use sugarcane(juice) to meet the need when sugar itself is wanting. But, there is nothing (as far as I know) that can be used to sweeten or “salt” salt. Thus, a saltless salt is only good to be thrown into the fire and/or disposed of. The Bible didn’t say we are sugar. It says we are salt. God doesn’t mix His words…
