Title: PURPOSE (1)
…for thou has created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Rev. 4:11
Purpose is the INTENTION, AIM or FUNCTION of a thing. It can be seen as that thing which somebody has been equipped for and is expected to achieve; it is what a person exists for.
There is a reason why no one is like you. There is a reason why you have no other “you” like you. That reason is due to what you are here for- Your purpose.
When we fail to understand why we have been put here, we automatically lose value of life. From the Book of Beginnings, Genesis 1-2, we realize that everything God created had a reason for its existence. The Sun, Moon, stars, seasons, plants, animals, etc. all had a function for which they were made. The day we lose recognition of our purpose, we become useless both to God and to life itself.
Take, for instance, your car. The day that car stops moving you from place to place and you’re now the one pushing it from place to place, that’s the day its value begins to diminish. Either you’ll dispose of it or park it somewhere for keeping sake.
This same thing applies in life as well. We were created by God, the Almighty, for a reason. And whatever that reason may be, it’s meant to bring pleasure to God.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained…
Eph. 2:10

It should give you joy to know that you have been made to bring pleasure to God. Even with the rough pages of your life, the dark ones even, know this, you have been wired to bring pleasure, delight, smiles, joy, and glory to God. Hallelujah!
Maybe you’ve gotten to a point in your life where you don’t see anything good in yourself anymore. Tonight, I show you from God’s Word, you’ve been wired to bring God joy. Anything your life produces now that is contrary to that is a lie. The real you was made to glorify God. And if you have breath today, it means you can still bring glory to God.
Accept this truth today. You’re loved. You’re special. God delights in you.
Say with me, I am loved. I’m an object of God’s delight through Jesus Christ. I’m not a failure. I’m not an accident. My life from today will satisfy God. I refuse to give myself over to Satan or an ungodly lifestyle. I turn today to a better lifestyle. I’m blessed with life and I’ll use that life for God’s glory, in Jesus name, amen.
